Madmans Esprit // Your support helps them release a Blu-ray

After the release of their latest single “Seoul” Madmans Esprit set out on a short tour to promote the single, finishing with a oneman live show on November 24, 2019 in Seoul, Korea.

This concert was filmed with a total of 6 camera’s, and the band would absolutely love to release it to their fans in Blu-ray format together with a new single titled “망탄시” (Mangtansi). Unfortunately there isn’t enough money for the band to reach this goal, so they have started a crowdfunding campaign to reach their goal of 8,500 euro.
Also, if they manage to raise 10,000 euro the band will be able to make a new music video for the new single as well!

The crowdfunding letter

Madmans Esprits 2019 Asian tour “this night is ours” has come to an end.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who came to our concerts. It is always a great pleasure to meet all of you at the venue.

But I also know that there are many places we couldn’t visit due to realistic conditions.
I know you always ask us to come to your country and of course we would love to tour a lot more places in the coming year. However, it‘s probably not possible since I’m likely not going to be able to leave South Korea at all in 2020.
I have no valid passport anymore and the Korean government will not issue me a new one until I finish the military duty for which I’m still in the waiting line and no one knows when I can either start or be exempt.

That’s why I decided to start a crowd funding campaign for a blu-ray release, so you can experience Madmans Esprit’s live performance in high quality video wherever you live.
Our tour final oneman “Seoul” has been an amazing experience which I would really like to share with all of you. And since I am also currently working on new music I am planning a double-release. The full-length concert video coupled with a brand new song.
As always I want to bring this work to you in best possible quality and offer merchandise along with it.

However, without your help, I’m not going to be able to make this release.

Making music and expressing myself in it is my ultimate raison d’être and it’s great to see people around the world appreciating my art. But as an independent artist who gets 0 financial support from any company, organizing a tour or preparing a new release is a big financial burden which can become an existential threat to me. And on top of that, when most of the Madmans Esprit fans are living outside of Korea, not being able to have overseas activity will cause a big damage both to my career and finance in the coming year.

By joining this fundraiser you enable me to complete and release this new work despite the difficult situation. Any support would be extremely helpful and appreciated, I will pay it back by bringing more heartbreaking pieces of art to you.

Thank you very much.
