You might know HYDE as the vocalist of L’Arc~en~Ciel and VAMPS, but even by himself he is quite a force to be reckoned with. Being one of the most prolific rock artists in the Japanese music scene he has performed no less than 16 sold out shows at the famous Tokyo Dome, has over 60 top 10 singles in the Japanese Oricon Music Charts, and sold over 40 million albums. Among quite a few other achievements.
His latest album “HYDE [INSIDE]” was released in September of 2024, and features tracks like “ON MY OWN” (from the anime series “MARS RED”), “DEFEAT” (from the PS5 game “DEVIL MAY CRY 5”) and “BELIEVING IN MYSELF” (from the Tokyo Marathon 2020). He performed his first solo shows for this album in the US in November 2024 and shows no signs of slowing down. Starting in Japan in late June, followed by a South America tour in late August and September before a European tour in November HYDE now has his longest world tour to date on his agenda.
It’s also been 10 years since we’ve last seen HYDE in Europe! The last time he was here was in 2015, as part of VAMPS.

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.
雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years, she's still the one responsible for the interviews and most of the live photography you see here at Arlequin, but the majority of reviews and behind-the-scenes work is also done by her.
The reviews she writes are from the viewing point of an overseas fan, and thus written in English before being translated to Dutch, Spanish and Japanese. In the English versions she also tries to explain the meaning behind certain kanji or song titles to the readers, but what you don't see here is that these explanations are omitted in the Japanese versions in order to appeal to these readers more.
She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
