While being a subgenre of ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei), キラキラ系 (Kirakira Kei) is derived from お洒落系 (Osare Kei).
While being similar to お洒落系 (Osare Kei) visually, the term “キラキラ” (kirakira) means “sparkly” in English, and the style of music is mostly known for it’s heavy use of synthesizers and saccharine (“sweet”) compositions and lyrics.

The very first single of Azavana, “灰色の海を泳ぐ蛍” (Haiiro no Umi wo Oyogu Hotaru), may be their first single, but it’s definitely not their first release overall. The group already released two mini-albums in November of 2024, but this single really caught our attention with it’s poetic title, and even more poetic lyrics. Z CLEAR // 広島 (Hiroshima): I’ll just be myself

“広島” (Hiroshima) is already the 11th single for Z CLEAR, but why are we jumping into their work with this single in particular? This single not only contains a wonderful message, it also looks like a unique moment in time for the band themselves.

SuG // “SuG 2015 EUROPE TOUR” at Underground

Yuhma & Gunji // Combining two entirely different worlds in one interview

Luzmelt and the fool are currently doing a few shows together in Europe for the "Jap-Ro Festival", organized by Astan Magazin.
The festival only consists of two shows, one in Bonn (Germany) and the other in Utrecht (The Netherlands).

We took the opportunity to have a chat with both vocalists, and even though the intention was to have two separate interviews, due to time constraints we were forced to have a chat with the three of us at the same table.
