You might have seen this small notification slide by on Twitter already, but in case you haven’t…

Do you remember the interview I did with the members of 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) in late January of this year?
(If you haven’t read it, or need a quick refresher, you can find it here!)

響 (Hibiki) // “I want to play an active part in all kinds of genres, not just metal.”

Even though it has been a hot minute since I was able to ask all members of 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) a long list of questions about the band and their activities as individual members, there was one thing that wasn’t sitting right with me. Because most of you will recognize 響 (Hibiki) as the drummer of 摩天楼オペラ

摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) // A fleeting hymn of love

I’m sure that most people by now have heard of 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) as a band, but in the recent years I have seen their overseas activity get less and less. Yet there was a lot going on in the world of the band. Not only have they gone independent last year, they’ve also lost their guitarist,

Cazqui’s Brutal Orchestra // OSWALD: Take off your face

Cazqui already made some waves as the lead guitarist of NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST, but due to some events behind the scenes both Cazqui and the other guitarist Daichi ended up leaving the group.
These events are personal between the members, and even though some of it has leaked onto the internet here and there

Rumbless. // A “catastrophe.” for a business card

For this interview I spoke with vocalist Roku, guitarist Takaki, bassist Sin and drummer Tva, four guys who form “Rumbless.” together. Rumbless. combines metal with J-Pop and elements of ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) to create their unique signature sound. And even though they’re still a relatively young

Rumbless. // Σ-sigma-: Layer the colors as you like

Rumbless. is still a relative newcomer in the ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) scene, but vocalist Roku has been in other projects (like “Project zero”, “Re;zero”, “End;Re” and “Sith”) prior to Rumbless. Despite being rather new to the scene, Roku, Takaki, Sin and Tva have a very good image of what they want. They

エンヴィル (ENVYL) // The musical combination of Angels and Demons

Maybe you’ve heard of エンヴィル (ENVYL) already, considering they showed up in the ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) scene immediately once their music video for “D.I.D” hit their YouTube channel, combining metal, programming and ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) in one package with their version of light

TRNTY D:CODE announced as the musical guest at KeiMania

KeiMania is a brand new event in Hamburg (Germany), and the first edition will take place on October 31st and November 1st of 2020. An event with a Japanese theme and a focus on music, fashion and party of course warrants a musical guest, right? And since they have a ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) artist, this is right up our alley as well. In this news item we gladly inform you about everything known so far!

Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event unfortunately had to make the hard decision to postpone their festivities. When we hear more, we’ll of course let you know too!

NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST // WHITEOUT: I wish we’ll find a way even in the silent night

It’s been a while since the last physical release of NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST (since they did release a digital only single called “Live to Die” in August of 2017), but in March of 2018 the five guys dropped a single that has been given the name “WHITEOUT”.

The single comes

TRNTY D:CODE // GRAVITY: I’ll never be afraid cuz I know gravity can’t do anything

TRNTY D:CODE is a relatively new project in the ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) genre, but definitely doesn’t have an entirely new line up. Featuring former members of KILLANETH, LOVE LOCK and THE DC the group brings a different type of sound to the scene with a heavier focus on the digital and manipulation aspect of their works.

Their first single “GRAVITY” was released on January 31st of this year, so in this review 雪 (Yuki) is taking a closer look at the single to tell you more about it.

vistlip // It: An ‘admiration’ that will never be defeated

The ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) genre has many, many artists. But some of them are more familiar names than others. And vistlip is one of those more familiar names. With 10 years to their name already the group has made it into the hearts of many fans, and onto the playlist of many listeners alike. Another fun fact
