KAMIJO // Behind the Mask (2/3): Sang

Bonjour!
As you probably know by now, KAMIJO is preparing to tour Europe this June with his "The Anthem" tour, and for that reason we're doing a little promotion of our own. With our three-part "Behind the Mask" series we aim to give you a different view of KAMIJO's solo works by diving into his story of Louis XVII.
Since this story spans various releases, we've divided it into three parts. In this second part we'll cover the "Sang" album, which was released in 2018.

FORBIDDEN // “To us “FORBIDDEN” is the name of the future we’re aiming for.”

FORBIDDEN is the newest musical project of guitarist 凛 (Lin) and vocalist 鋲 (Byou), who you might recognize from projects like brodiaea, Lilith, Affective Synergy, SCREW, KHRYST+ and their solo careers.
FORBIDDEN officially launched in December of 2023, which means they're still a relatively new band, but their concept is very solid already. More than enough reason for us to ask the guys for some more information about FORBIDDEN!

MIRAI // “Music crosses borders.”

It’s been a while since we last featured Angels’ Temptation, but that doesn’t mean the members have just been sitting around and doing nothing. Our last time featuring them unfortunately had some sad news about a member leaving the group, and it has been a bit quiet in terms of new music coming from the

竜神 (RYUJIN) // (2/2) “I would like to introduce Samurai Metal around the world!”

Last week we already published part one of our interview with 篠本竜司 (Shinomoto Ryuji), in which we spoke about the reason behind the change from GYZE to 竜神 (RYUJIN), as well as 竜司 (Ryuji)’s musical history and his international ambitions as a Japanese metal musician.

Since 竜司 (Ryuji) was so open about

竜神 (RYUJIN) // (1/2) “I thought this was my fate, and became a dragon god.”

We have quite a treat for you today, one that we have been working on for quite some time. Perhaps you might have heard of 竜神 (RYUJIN) already, but in case you haven’t, here’s a (very quick) rundown:
竜神 (RYUJIN) is the newest musical incarnation of 篠本竜司 (Shinomoto Ryuji), who you might also recognize as

Pluto // “I hope I can express the pain in my heart and the emotions that I’m afraid to share with others”

It’s been a while since our last interview, but we wanted to start 2024 off with something a little different this time. For this interview we’ve asked vocalist 蒼月 (Tsuzuki) and guitarist 螢 (Kei) some questions about their band Pluto – which is a project I have personally been following

Dress Up Town // “Weeb Rock!!” at Astrant

Dress Up Town came to Astrant in Ede for the very first edition of "Weeb Rock!! Anime and J-Pop Night", rocking the venue with their anime and video game cover songs. D.U.T. is not a strange sight in the Dutch convention world, since the band is often listed as a performing act on local conventions, and with their repertoire of up-to-date modern covers as well as classics, it's no surprise that the venue was packed!

Of course we joined the party as well, and took some photos of their live show. These photos are hosted on our photography portfolio Arlequin Photography.
You can find the link to their page there in this post!
