VELVET EDEN // New DVD “Behind the Tales” set to release in November

VELVET EDEN are about to release their second DVD, titled “Behind the Tales”, on November 26, 2014!

The DVD will be released through Darkest Labyrinth, and even though the official release date is set for the end of November, you can secure your copy early by purchasing it as early as October 2nd at their live show in 今池CLUB 3STAR (ImaikeCLUB 3STAR).

Darkest Labyrinth has published the following comment about the release:
“A collection of live footage not previously released, along with the new music video from their album “Double Twelve”. The footage from their live show on 2014 offers a glimpse of a unique world view, unseen in their CDs and music videos.
The DVD will consist of 7 tracks that represent the past and present of VELVET EDEN, showcasing all of their ever-present glamour condensed into one work. The music video for “Marionette Waltz” was made in collaboration with the ball-jointed doll maker Shimizu Mari, reflecting the talents of both artists.
Even though VELVET EDEN evolves constantly, the DVD illustrates that their roots remain unchanged.”

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
