BRIDEAR // “Decide to Survive” European Tour 2022

Following the release of their new album “AEGIS OF ATHENA” last April, BRIDEAR will be returning to Europe this September for a short tour, playing a total of 8 shows in 5 different countries!

Band profile

BRIDEAR exist out of KIMI on vocals, AYUMI and MOE on guitar, HARU on bass and NATSUMI on drums.
Starting their career in 福岡 (Fukuoka) in 2012, they have set their sights on an international stage from the very beginning with non-Japanese influences like MUSE (UK) and Helloween (Germany). Combining elements of power metal and progressive metal with the melodic hooks of J-Pop the group has created a sound that is nothing like their musical “rivals”.

In 2021 BRIDEAR joined the UK-based label SETSUZOKU RECORDS, making their album “Bloody Bride” the first international release. At this time they also took the title of “first Japanese group to tour internationally” after the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, visiting various countries in Europe.

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
