摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) // New EP “EVIL” announced

摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) have announced that their new EP “EVIL” will be released on December 13, 2023.
The EP will contain 6 tracks, and rather than only being available through their own webshop the release will also be available as a digital download through iTunes as well as at major CD shops nationwide.

If you purchase the release in advance between November 26 and December 6 through the band’s official website you will receive it between December 9 and 11, before the release date. (This is only possible if you have a Japanese address – their webshop cannot accept international orders.) Additionally you’ll receive a preorder bonus in the form of a postcard.

Additionally, there are several in-store events planned once the EP has been released:
12/16 (Sat) – Tower Records Shinjuku
12/17 (Sun) – Tower Records Shibuya
01/12 (Fri) – littleHEARTS Osaka
01/15 (Mon) – Nagoya Shizuka no Umi

More information about each in-store event can be found on 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera)’s website (only in Japanese) here.

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
